Feeling alive,
while running through the snow. There is something so peaceful about running when the world is covered in snow, especially a fresh layer of snow. It forces me to slow down and take in the beauty surrounding me.
outside. As long as I'm bundled up and warm, getting outside always makes me feel alive. Even if I'm outside because I'm shoveling, yet again.
when I use my brain. Writing up cover letters for job applications. Collaborating with colleagues on some exciting projects outside of work. Using my brain makes me feel so much better than mindlessly surfing the internet, falling down the Instagram hole, or checking my email for the 40th time.
reading and reflecting on Discovering Your Soul Signature. This book is just so beautifully written. Each day as I read through the wisdom in this book, I feel so calm and so alive.
when I wake up feeling well rested. Feeling well rested can change my outlook on life so much. Going to bed at the same time every night and getting up at the same time every morning is soooo good and it works amazingly well.
feeling the seasons change. On Sunday it was almost 40 degrees outside! The sun was shining, the snow was melting, and people were out riding bicycles. I could feel spring coming and felt hope that winter wouldn't last forever. I could feel the earth coming back to life.
